Paul E. Forte

Paul E. Forte is Chief Executive Officer of Long Term Care Partners, LLC, a new joint venture company formed by John Hancock Financial Services and MetLife. Long Term Care Partners is the exclusive administrator for the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP), which is the largest long-term care insurance program in the nation.
Mr. Forte is one of the founders of John Hancock’s Long-Term Care Insurance business. As a Senior Officer with John Hancock, he served as head of Group Sales, Marketing and Account Development, directing successful bids for such large cases as IBM, BellSouth, State Farm, and SBC Communications, Inc., and in 2001 directed John Hancock’s efforts to win the FLTCIP contract. Previously, he served as the first Marketing Director of John Hancock’s acclaimed individual LTC policy (“ProtectCare”), distributing it nationally through John Hancock’s career agents and independent brokers. Mr. Forte has also managed John Hancock’s Group Life business and worked in John Hancock’s International Group Department, first as Sales Executive, and later as Technical Consultant.
Mr. Forte has been a featured speaker at national industry conferences and has appeared on radio and television programs. He holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and has attended the Executive Program of the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
