Anne Kelly

Anne is an innovative, high-energy senior executive, with over two decades’ leadership experience and success in the public and private sectors resulting in impressive bottom-line results. Her expertise encompasses leadership development, talent management, executive coaching, change management, and business consulting. She has broad general and operational leadership skills in defining and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction under changing conditions.
Currently she is the President of IAMA Ventures, a private consulting and executive coaching firm. Before forming her own company, she was a Principal at the CSC Corporation providing marketing, consulting, project management, and business development services.
Earlier, as the successful leader of an entrepreneurial fee-for-service consulting practice in the Department of the Treasury (FCG), Anne’s clients included Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, Small Business Administration, Treasury, Commerce, HHS, DoD, and other departments. In her varied assignments she was seen as a trusted advisor who supported her clients’ achievement of performance and organizational goals. Through her guidance her clients achieved success improving employee engagement, executing human capital planning to meet current conditions, improving performance and productivity.
Anne’s accomplishments in improving employee engagement and process improvement at the Department of Homeland Security are featured in the
Grass Roots Leaders: The Brain Smart Revolution In Business (Gower Publishing, 2007). Earlier she successfully transformed a 350 member front-line organization at the Department of Commerce by restructuring three dysfunctional divisions, changing work processes and drastically reducing processing time from 60 to 25 days, while improving quality to 96% within six months of becoming the Director.
Anne’s policy experience includes serving as the Chief of Staff to an Assistant Commissioner within the Department of Commerce. In another role, as the Dean of the Patent Academy she directed the training annually, of over 1,000 new engineers, attorneys and scientists.
Kelly is the recipient of numerous awards including the Department of Commerce Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals and Distinguished Service Award, Secretary of Commerce Equal Employment Opportunity Award and the Small Business Administration’s Susan B. Anthony Medal.
