Position: Human Capital Intern
Position Overview: 

CHCI has immediate openings for two (2) Human Capital Interns to join our dynamic and successful consulting practice. The person (s) selected will become a key part of our staff and will be integrated into the overall management of our fast-paced office, where you will interface with federal and military client groups and industry leaders in the fields of talent management, research and human resources.

Key Role:

In this role you will perform a variety of administrative duties that include, but not limited to fielding telephone calls, filing, data entry, supporting company executives and organizational events. You will also support project research functions and product development. 

You will support the management of the company’s welcoming area, greet and direct all visitors and incoming calls, including vendors, clients and customers. Ensure completion of internal office duties and handle special administrative projects on request.

Qualifications:         

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience or a combination (concentration and/or experience in human resources, government, marketing or non-profits preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with a focus on achieving results. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management a must.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are a must. Ability to transfer broad ideas into written material, excellent oral and written products.
  • Accustomed to maintaining confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Event-planning experience a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a high-performing, dynamic and growing organization helpful.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft platforms is a must (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to travel and drive on occasion.

Position: Human Capital Fellow
Position Overview: 

CHCI has immediate openings for two (2) Human Capital Fellows to join our dynamic and successful consulting practice. The person (s) selected will become a key part of our staff and will be integrated into the overall project management and service delivery of the firm. In this position, you will directly interface with federal and military client groups and industry leaders in the fields of talent management, research, training, leadership development and human resources.

Key Role:

In this position, you will be required to perform a variety of research, writing and designing functions using Microsoft platforms and the internet to support project and program results. You may also be requested to support CHCI ’s social media and marketing goals.  Duties also include but not limited to supporting projects, overflow administrative, event and other organizational priorities when required. 

Qualifications:         

  • Bachelors degree (minimum) or equivalent experience or a combination (concentration and/or experience in human resources, government, marketing, sales or non-profits preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a history of quickly building relationships with a focus on achieving results. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.

Position:  Director of Business Development

Position Overview: 

CHCI Enterprises is looking for the ideal person to join our dynamic team of human capital professionals to become the Director of Business Development (DBD).  The Director of Business Development will build relationships and partnerships with government suppliers – contractors, consulting firms, etc. and within agencies and departments (federal, state, local, and eventually, international).

The DBD will co-create win-win sponsorship programs with prospective and current sponsors.  They will build and manage long-term relationships with government agencies and departments at all levels of government to encourage the use of CHC Enterprise products, including, but not limited to paid subscriptions and memberships.

Key Role:

The successful candidate will join CHCI Enterprises executive team and is expected to share intelligence, feedback and ideas from clients and prospective clients, to recommend changes to products and services and to share strategic plans for longer-term business development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain monthly contact (at a minimum) with marketing and/or key stakeholders from each client to assure full engagement and support.
  • Leverage and manage business development, client management and project management software (i.e. Salesforce, ActiveCollab, etc.) to track and document all communications and measurement of ROI.
  • Collect intelligence on sponsor business needs, activities and growth to drive additional sales opportunities.
  • Represent CHCI Enterprises at local events and develop relationships with other organizations and associations that align with corporate mission and values.
  • Understand CHCI Enterprises capabilities and service, and effectively communicate all offerings to clients and prospects.

Desired Skill Set:  In the simplest terms, the DBD is a “go-getter”, highly engaged, ambitious, solutions-focused, self-managed and motivated individual that is ready to join our mission driven organization.   The successful candidate will have strong research, writing, public-speaking, computer and e-communication skills.  

Our ideal candidate is sociable and a strategic communicator with ample knowledge of the Federal workforce and issues surrounding Federal Government.   The DBD must have proven sales and marketing experience and solid understanding of human resources, human capital and/or talent management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Human Capital or related discipline, MBA, MA, or MS degrees preferred
  • 8+ (no less than 5) years of Business Development, Fundraising and/or Account Management experience
  • Experience in non-profit, labor union, sponsorship or member organizations
  • Human Capital and/or government experience a plus
  • 5+ years supporting a business line/function requiring strong consulting, problem solving and analytical skills

Position:  Senior Bid and Proposal Team

Position Overview: 

CHCI Enterprises is looking for the ideal person to join our dynamic team of human capital professionals to become the Director of Bid and Proposal Development Team.  This person will be responsible for the full range of business capture activities for the company from moving selected opportunities through the bid and proposal process to researching, identifying, analyzing, and qualifying potential opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

The Director will work closely with the company’s executive leadership to ensure strategic positioning and responsiveness to Federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and other potential business capture. The Director will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as needed, to ensure timely delivery of quality proposals.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Proposal Development:

  • Develop and maintain the company business capture plan
  • Develop opportunity, planning, monitoring and management strategies
  • Recommend opportunities to be moved from capture phase to proposal phase

Build Relationships:

  • Build and sustain partner relationships
  • Partner with internal/external solution architects,  client/partner teams  and subject matter experts to support the response and capture technical language to use for a compelling proposal
  • Identify customer programs and procurement structures
  • Develop a database to track customer procurement cycle and customer contact plan

 Gather and Analyze Data:

  • Perform program/opportunity assessments: gather relevant data, analyze and validate data and determine gaps
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the RFP, RFI, RFG to understand scope and technical requirements
  • Perform Customer Assessments: gain clear understanding of customer requirements; identify/validate customer issues, wants, needs and requirements; determine source selection authority and key decision makers

Compose Proposals:

  • Managing the project, including scheduling (and participating in) kick-off meetings to discuss response strategy,  drafting, editing and polishing response documents to illustrate win themes and common voice.
  • Lead strategy and proposal review sessions
  • Develop a compelling and compliant proposal
  • Develop of contract transition plan to include incumbent staffing and participate in contract phase-in activities
  • Participate in business development strategy sessions with the Company’s executive team
  • Assess staffing strengths and weaknesses on proposals and develop risk mitigation plans to address challenges

  • Capture management experience with government acquisition projects and processes
  • Track record of successful proposal wins is desired
  • Must have excellent team-building and networking skills
  • Advanced skills with MS Office suite (Work, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Federal government, non-profit, labor union, sponsorship or member organizations

Position: Content Developers
Position Overview: 

Join our team of digital agitators, content developers, and web 2.0 professionals at TMGov.org, a dynamic team that’s in the forefront of online interactions. A Digital Agitator provides original content for our portal (the nation's largest online resource for talent management in government) in the form of articles, blogs, tweets, etc. You will take responsibility for several Communities of Practice (COP) to build content, drive discussion, build community membership, recruit presenters and other contributors, and deepen the engagement of community members.

As a Digital Agitator, you are a full-time and critical part of the team. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to our quarterly magazine that is read by over 435,000 members. You will attend quarterly sponsor meetings to report on COP activity and progress, maintain relationships with sponsors, volunteers and presenters.

The Digital Agitators are full-time, one-year paid internship positions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Public Administration, Policy, Political Science, English or a Human Capital or related discipline
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills is a MUST
  • Experience with editing and/or journalistic writing style
